Career and LinkedIn Audits provide students with personalized feedback on their professional brand, career readiness, and preparation for internships, employment, graduate school, and other post-graduate opportunities. These audits offer valuable insights into how students are approaching their career development while helping them build a stronger professional presence.
LinkedIn audits are conducted remotely. Students receive detailed instructions and a rubric via email before the review process begins, and a reminder is provided in class. Feedback is delivered directly through LinkedIn messaging and includes color-coded evaluations designed to highlight strengths, opportunities for improvement, and actionable next steps.
To support faculty assessment and program outcomes, Georgina tracks audit completion and results through a spreadsheet or report that is shared with instructors via a Google link. These reports provide useful information about student engagement, professional preparation, and overall career readiness.
Career and LinkedIn Audits are automatically incorporated into most course-related Career Center partnerships, with the exception of First-Year Seminars (FYS). Because students increasingly rely on digital platforms to communicate their experiences, skills, and accomplishments, these audits serve as an important tool for helping students develop an effective and professional online presence.
