Welcome to Washington College’s Student Career Community!

Your career journey starts the moment you arrive on campus, and we’re here to help you make the most of every opportunity along the way. Jump to the handy Recruiting by industry cycle charts below for internships and jobs

The Student Career Community serves as your central hub for career exploration, professional development, experiential learning, internships, graduate school preparation, networking, and career readiness. Whether you’re a first-year student exploring possibilities, a junior searching for internships, or a senior preparing for your next step after graduation, you’ll find the resources, connections, and support you need all in one place.

At Washington College, career development is personal. You’ll work closely with faculty mentors, career advisors, alumni, employers, and campus partners who are invested in your success. Our small size creates meaningful relationships that help you discover your strengths, explore your interests, and build a plan that aligns with your unique goals.

We encourage you to take advantage of the many hands-on learning opportunities available throughout your Washington College experience. Build valuable skills through student employment, internships, research opportunities, leadership positions, and participation in our Signature Centers, the Starr Center, the Starr Center’s programs, the Rose O’Neill Literary House, the Warehime School of Global Business, the Center for Environment & Society, the Institute for Religion, Politics and Culture, and the Hogan Entrepreneurial Leadership Program. You can also expand your network and develop professionally through honor societies, student organizations, service opportunities, academic clubs, professional associations such as HOSA, and countless other campus experiences.

Within this community, you’ll find career events, workshops, employer connections, job and internship opportunities, graduate school resources, student success stories, and professional tools designed to help you make informed decisions about your future.

Most importantly, this is your space. Explore, connect, ask questions, and take advantage of the many opportunities available to you. The experiences you pursue today will help shape the professional and personal success you achieve tomorrow.
