CISS is currently seeking part-time and full-time medical scribes in an Emergency Department setting within the Community Health Network
Role:
- Work 1:1 with a physician, providing clerical support so that they can focus their energy directly on patient care
- Observe and document all patient encounters in real time
- Assist the medical provider by documenting in an EMR system, tracking clinical orders, results and preparing for the patient’s disposition
Employment Type:
The following shifts are available …
- 2300 – 0700 (Sunday – Saturday)
Requirement:
- College level Sophomore standing or higher
- Strong organization, multitasking and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced computer skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to type 60 WPM
- 1-2 year commitment
Pay: $15.00 – $17.50 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Indianapolis, IN 46227: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
