Responsibilities and Duties:
As a Front Office Administrative Assistant, you will be a vital part of our team, ensuring smooth front-office operations and delivering a positive experience for patients. You’ll handle high volumes of phone calls, assist with data entry, and support various administrative functions as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients, providing a welcoming and professional experience
- Answer and manage a high volume of phone calls, including scheduling appointments, handling patient inquiries, and routing calls appropriately
- Assist with patient intake forms, insurance information, and data entry into the patient management system
- Organize and maintain patient records and other essential office documents
- Coordinate communication between patients and the medical team, providing necessary updates and follow-ups
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient front office environment
- Eventually take on additional responsibilities as you grow in this role with the goal of transitioning to full-time
Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior experience in an administrative or customer service role (experience in a medical or high-volume office setting is a plus)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with data entry and familiarity with office management software is preferred
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A professional, compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient confidentiality and satisfaction
Employment Type:
- Part-Time initially (12 PM – 5 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)
- Transition to Full-Time after successful completion of a three-month training period
