Position Hiring: Part- Time MATH Instructor
Type: Part-Time (10-20 Hours)
Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday : 3:00PM-7:30PM
Sunday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Location:445 S Oxford Valley Rd , Fair less Hills PA 19030
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Math Tutor / Instructor to join our team at Mathnasium of Langhorne . The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students build confidence and succeed in math through individualized instruction and positive encouragement. Instructors work with students in grades K–12 using the Mathnasium Method to strengthen mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills in a supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach students using the Mathnasium curriculum and instructional methods
- Provide individualized and small-group math instruction
- Explain math concepts clearly and effectively
- Encourage student participation, confidence, and academic growth
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to center staff
- Maintain a positive, professional, and engaging classroom atmosphere
- Assist with administrative and organizational tasks as needed
- Collaborate with team members and center leadership to support student success
- Help keep center clean after instruction.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of math concepts through at least Algebra II
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with children and teenagers
- Positive attitude, patience, and strong problem-solving abilities
- Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred but not required
- Availability for afternoon, evening, and/or weekend shifts
