Responsibilities:
– Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
– Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
– Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
– Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
– Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing emotional support
Requirements:
– Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
– Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support techniques
– Proficiency in performing coding procedures and accurately documenting patient information
– Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members
– Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
– Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team
– Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred but not required
