Skyhawks Sports Academy is a leading national youth sports camp organization dedicated to fostering essential life skills in children ages 2-14 through sports, prioritizing safety, skill enhancement, and most importantly, FUN! With over two decades of experience, we have been enriching communities across Minnesota since 1999, collaborating with more than 40 metro area neighborhoods.
Responsibilities:
- Head Coach of the programs.
- Create a fun and energetic environment for participants.
- Effectively communicate and motivate fellow participants to deliver high-quality sessions.
- As Lead Coach, develop and execute session plans that engage participants and teach fundamental sports skills.
- Transport and set up sporting equipment, manage attendance, and ensure proper clean-up at the end of each session.
- Commit to leading assigned classes consistently over four-week periods, including afternoons, evenings, and typically one weekend day per week.
Hours of Operation:
Monday – Thursday
· After School Programming 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM*
· Early Evening Programming 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM*
Saturdays
· 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM*
*Actual hours vary by location*
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for commuting up to 30 minutes to various camp locations.
- Must pass a background check and demonstrate a genuine passion for sports.
- Preferred: Previous coaching or childcare experience.
- First Aid and CPR certified.

Work Location(s):
**We will schedule you within a maximum 30-minute drive from your home. Most camps are held at elementary, middle, high schools, and some parks. **
