We’re seeking a passionate and entrepreneurial-minded CTO to join our founding team. This is an exciting opportunity for a college student who thrives in fast-paced environments, is a self-starter, and wants to make a meaningful impact on education technology.
As our CTO, you’ll lead the technical vision and execution of Undergraduation.com. Working with other founding members, you’ll design, develop, and manage scalable technical solutions to bring our vision to life.
Responsibilities
- Tech Strategy: Define the technical roadmap aligned with the company’s vision and goals.
- Development: Design and build scalable web applications, features, and APIs.
- Database Management: Implement, manage, and optimize database systems to store and analyze user data effectively.
- Innovation: Explore and implement AI/ML tools to enhance the personalization and efficiency of the platform.
- Collaboration: Work with the founding team to integrate user feedback and improve the platform iteratively.
- Leadership: Build and mentor a small, talented tech team as the startup grows.
- Problem-Solving: Address technical challenges with creative and efficient solutions in a resource-constrained startup environment.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in programming languages: Python, JavaScript, or Ruby (or similar).
- Experience with web development frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Database management: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Firebase).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Familiarity with API development and integration (REST/GraphQL).
- Basic understanding of AI/ML models and tools.
- Strong debugging, testing, and optimization skills.
