Lisa Moody

Executive Director

Lisa Moody is an experienced higher education leader with more than 20 years dedicated to advancing student success through strategic, data-informed career development. As Executive Director of the Center for Career Development at Washington College, she provides strategic leadership and administrative oversight for all career programs, services, and operations, including career readiness initiatives, employer and alumni engagement, experiential learning, and post-graduation outcomes reporting.

Since joining Washington College in 2014, Lisa has led progressive leadership roles across employer relations, outreach, and student coaching. She manages signature programs such as First Year Career Awareness Program and SPARK, and advises student organizations including the Black Student Union, African Student Union, and Intervarsity Christian Fellowship.

Previously, Lisa served as Director of Career Services and Student Employment at Delaware State University, where she strengthened employer engagement, career programming, and workforce readiness. Her earlier career includes 16 years in banking and finance, complemented by experience in nonprofit leadership, ministry, and residential real estate.

Lisa holds an MBA from Delaware State University and a BA in Christian Ministry from Chesapeake Bible College and Seminary. She is known for her collaborative leadership and commitment to helping individuals reach their professional and personal potential.
